How to Start a New Life with Peace

In Christianity, the concept of salvation is central to the teachings of the Bible, particularly in the New Testament. Salvation, as understood in Christianity, generally refers to the deliverance of humanity from sin and its consequences (death), leading to eternal life with God.

Grace and Gift of God:
Salvation is a gift from God, given out of His grace. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV) emphasizes this: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works so that no one can boast.”

Faith in Jesus Christ:
Christians believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the savior of humanity. The famous verse John 3:16 (New International Version) encapsulates this idea: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Repentance and Forgiveness:
The Bible often speaks of the need for repentance, turning away from sin, and seeking forgiveness. Acts 3:19 (NIV) states, “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”
